Guilherme Guilherme

Guilherme Guilherme (he/him) is an incoming postdoctoral fellow at Bishop’s University (january 2027). He holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the Federal University of São Paulo, which included a period as an International Visiting Graduate Student at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on work and technology, specifically labour management and control, the platformization of work, and workers’ action and organizing. He has conducted research with call-center workers in the São Paulo metropolitan region, software developers at Brazilian tech hubs, and software workers on digital platforms. Guilherme has also been working with the Landless Workers’ Movement (MST) in Brazil for more than 10 years. He currently coordinates the Movement’s communications sector in São Paulo.
