
Kruskaya Hidalgo Cordero

Kruskaya Hidalgo Cordero is an Ecuadorian queer feminist researcher and union organizer. She is a PhD student at the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto, a Connaught International Scholar and a Junior Fellow at Massey College. She founded the Observatory of Platforms (ODP), a militant research initiative established in 2020 to bridge activism and academia, focusing on the intersection of technology, labor and gender. An Atlantic Fellow for Social and Economic Equity at LSE and an MA graduate from Central European University, Kruskaya currently serves on the Host Committee for AoIR 2026, the Editorial Board of SAGE – Dialogues on Digital Society, and as an International Advisor for the P-WILL network. Her work centers on labor rights, care work, and decolonial methodologies, striving for a world where ‘many worlds fit.
