Larissa Moura

Larissa Moura is a PhD candidate in Media Studies at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), Brazil. From 2025 to 2026, she was a visiting PhD researcher at the University of Toronto. Her research is situated at the intersection of digital labour, platform studies, and the creator economy, with a particular focus on the labour conditions, power relations, and forms of value production that shape digital influence. Her doctoral research comparatively examines the political economy of digital influence in Brazil and Canada. More broadly, she is interested in developing comparative approaches to digital labour and platform economies across the Americas.
